Samson started preschool at the sweetest Christian Preschool. He was so excited. We went to Target and bought him a lunch box and a backpack. In typical Jasmin fashion we were almost late and I didn't get enough photos.
But he had a great day and only got in trouble one time for running. I love my little man.
"I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need."

The catch up post.
So it has been almost a year since I posted and I am so ashamed. I solemnly swear to make a post at least once a month. I am so scared I won't remember all these times if I don't. I don't even know where to start...
Maybe I'll just go month by month.. Last post was last June...
Last June we decided we had to move. It was sad. I was sad but hopeful this would make our lives easier. Our old home was beautful and in the BEST area. But it was small and we couldn't afford it really even at all. And I really really wanted to stay home. So we sold it ourselves. NO REALTOR. It worked fine and we moved from this rural little 2 bedroom place to this amazing mansion. JUST kidding. We moved to a much larger but it worse shape house in September. With people around us and kids next door and a fenced backyard and affordable payments. God was working for us overtime. He is great. Now we have been here 9 months and feel so at home. I quit my job and I am doing childcare in my home. It is such a blessing to be here with my kids. To not have to drop them off here and there and stress about my boss not liking certain things.. Thank you JESUS.
So we moved in and promptly started painting... we are still painting. ha ha! And attacking the yard. Typical home ownership stuff..
So the concludes my moving post. Next post will be the thanksgiving post. I think.

Christmas 2012
I STILL don't have a nativity scene! So I used my willow tree figure and some Ikea mice. Oh well. You get the scene. (ok ok I'll get a less blasphemous set).
I also did a little "craft" this Christmas. This was my very first time, I think, being totally creative on my own. My last years tree was a white fake one. You know the kind:
Anyways somehow it developed an odor. I took it out of the shed and it smelled FUNKY. Like old cat pee smoker funkee. I was so sad. I really wanted a Christmas tree in the bedroom too. I know. Its over the top. I love Christmas its so sparkly! and lovely and fun! Thank you Jesus for being born. I couldn't bear to part with the funky white walmart tree so I took the top third and put it in a cute mason jar with lights. I put all our sacred ornaments on it. Far from the cat and dog and children. Then I knocked it over with a pillow and broke Shirley's glass ball baby ornament. I suck. Please find me a 2012 pink glass ball one, anyone!
It is hard to keep kids off the tree. Case in point: Little miss and the ribbon:
And FINALLY Christmas

Still up here
We are still up here in Oregon. I wanted to share some little reviews and some fantastic children quotes.

Every morning we have been going to the beach searching for agates. The kids love searching. The only downside is its lick your hand, it sticks to the wall cold. Okay not THAT cold but for realzies we are wearing snow suits at the beach. We hit up the Columbia outlet to be better prepared for the cold windy mean beach.
My outfit, sans the hat, it got returned.

My little niece who I love to pieces made a glass float. Let me repeat my 7 year old niece did glass work. So so cool. Here is the poster:
Here she is working hard:
It looked something like this when she was done:
Actually hers was cuter because it was unicorn colors (pink purple green duh) and unicorns rock. I'll post it later.
We went to this awesome park called regatta park. It's located in Lincoln City. It is the COOLEST park I've ever been to. It has a lake with a little beach. Awesome fantastic equipment. A tire swing! And these cool swings made out of old tires.
My outfit, sans the hat, it got returned.
I'm thinking the jacket is a good one because its warm and it has those cute hand things and I found a few agates later that day.
The kids had fun at the outlets. New hats for both the boys and a ride with Spider-Man?! Good day indeed.

On Vacay!
Did you read that blog post title in a valley girl accent? Because I said it in one. We are on a fantastic little trip up the Oregon coast. Me+sister in law+5 kids+1 minivan= awesomefunloudcrazytimes.

There is video but Ill spare your ears. Lets see the drive was supposed to take like 8 hours and it took a bit longer. All things considered they were all angels. If you study the photos you see 5 kids in carseats, TWO rear facing! Wow za! Minivans rock my socks! We got to the hotel and the kids bout demo'd the room in 35 seconds. SIL and I just stared and zoned out while eating Cheetos and checking our emails. All hail wi fi! They begged and begged for the beach so we caved.

That's all for now folks! Look at me all making posts the day of not 6 months later.
Pics you say?
Jyess...

More catch up.
I'm bbbaaaccckkkk... Dinner is simmering on the stove. Chicken Fried Rice, brown rice of course since I am such a good momma. :) Lets keep on catching up...
Samson and his cousin made a fort. How cute is that. Love those boys.
A miracle happened and Shirley fell asleep at church in daddy's arms. Sometimes I like to keep her with me in the service just so I can love on her. And keep her away from the germs...
Look at her chunky thigh sweetness!!
I was a cat for halloween. Meow!
Samson was a dragon but wouldn't wear the hat. That's my hubby love. Down the block the whole cul de sac goes a little crazy for halloween. They have a party with hot apple cider, a trebuchet, candy bars and a little haunted graveyard.
For Thanksgiving I ditched the hubby (just kidding, he had to work) and went to Logan, Utah to visit my sister Kayla. She had a baby! Its was my second time in Utah. I love it there. It is so pretty and nice. Here we are on the drive to Sacramento.
Shirley is already playing on an ipad.
Made it to the Sacramento hotel. She was so happy to be out of the car.
I think we sort of look alike here.
I send my hubby a lot of selfies when I am away.
Samson loved the airport.
He even carried his own stuff. :)
Some mountain scenery!
The turley!! Yummy!!
Some more scenery!
